There Is No Off-Season

It’s the off-season but really there is never an off-season for a coach. Recently I’ve been having my Olympic tour or so I like to say. I’m at home in Montpellier, France anxious for another WNBA season to start. But I have been keeping myself busy trying to perfect my craft.I have been working out 2012 Olympians Ana Lelas of Team Croatia and Emilie Gomis of Silver Medalist France. I also have been working with former WNBA Star Kristen Mann. We’ve spent countless hours in the gym working on drills that they can correlate directly with the style of system they play with there team. Kristen is coming back from an injury so I’ve spent time with her doing technical things and also some other drills to help build her endurance. Each player has different needs so, it is alot of work trying to break down what each player needs but it’s so beneficial for everyone. In the meantime the girls are in the midst of a dream season being ranked number 1 in the French League by 3 games and number 2 in the Eurocup. You know I have a big smile on my face each time the girls play well:)
